Space walk cut short due to equipment problem

NASA has cut short a space walk by one of its astronauts at the International Space Station after he discovered a small hole in his spacesuit glove. Using his helmet camera, he was able to show the tear to the controllers, who ordered his return to the IS

Mission Control said he was in no danger as the hole did not go through all the layers of the glove.

Astronauts on spacewalks now check their gloves every 30 minutes following a discovery of excessive wear during a space mission last December.
