Gas pipeline rupture sparks fire in U.S.

A gas line accident sparked several fires in the U.S.  state of Texas. The blaze erupted in the rural area north of Weatherford after a pipeline ruptured as another one was laid.

The fire damaged several pieces of heavy equipment, trucks and nearby power lines.

The local Sheriff said fuel has been shut off and the flames allowed to burn out.

Reports say no-one was injured in the incident and all workers have been accounted for.
