London bombings suspects detained in UK

British police have detained three people suspected of involvement in the London bombings in July 2005, which killed 52 and wounded more than 700.

Two men were held at Manchester Airport as they prepared to board a flight to Pakistan.

The third was detained at a house near Leeds, where police were searching five homes.

All are suspected of committing, preparing or instigating acts of terrorism.
