At least 25 dead in Baghdad bomb blast
A car bomb blast in south west Baghdad has killed 25 people and wounded 60. The blast occured about 1000 local time (0600 GMT) in an outdoor market in the Shia Amil district of the city.
A medical centre was damaged, and nearby cars were set on fire. U.S. military officials fear the attack was part of a backlash from insurgent groups to the U.S. led security crackdown in Iraq.
