Copyright violation case launched in Russia
Moscow police have arrested a gang alleged to have been producing counterfeit manuals of the world's largest computer technology company. A criminal case into copyright violation has been launched and 20 people have been detained.
Police say the gang operated in Moscow for ten years and could have cost the U.S. company $US 10 MLN.
The high-quality fakes were sold to Moscow universities and computer centres, which were unaware they were buying illegally produced books.
