Stuntman stars at Volvo birthday party

Volvo, as part of its 80th birthday celebrations, has held a party in Moscow. The Swedish car manufacturer invited all Volvo car owners to go along. The event at Luzhniki Stadium featured an exhibition of vintage cars and some exhilarating test-drives.

Usually it is the guests who are expected to bring presents to a birthday party, but for Volvo it is an opportunity to thank their clients for choosing their vehicles over the last 80 years.

Seven bands from Russia and Sweden sang 'Happy Birthday' but the highlight of the party was Oliver Keller, a guest from Hollywood. A professional stuntman for the last 15 years, he was in Moscow for the first time to perform at Volvo's party.

Oliver Keller has worked on such movies as “Spiderman”, “The Scorpion King” and “The Guardian” amongst others. He started his career at the age of 19 when he moved from Switzerland to Los Angeles.

At the party he demonstrated two of his tricks, one of which involved driving up a ramp and jumping over other cars. The car landed with just minor damage but Mr Keller was fine.

Keller has set up his own agency called K-stunts and soon they'll start working on the latest Indiana Jones film.

Do not try repeating the trick though because it takes a little more than a Volvo car to do it.
