Kidnappers free relative of Ingushetia's President

A close relative says the elderly captive was not allowed to shave or wash during the whole period of his abduction, adding that “his condition leaves a lot to be desired”. 

Some media reports say prominent Chechen militant leader, Doku Umarov, could have organised the kidnapping.

About 25 people were abducted in the republic of Ingushetia this year.
