Russian angle at Summer Outdoor Games

Living on the edge - that's the way they like it. Every year the world's best extreme sportsmen get together at the Summer Outdoor Games to show off their outstanding skills.

This year’s event was held in Chamonix, France, and it was not only about extreme action, it was about the art of filmaking as well.

Five teams including cameramen and photographers aimed to make a short five-minute film and a photoset to impress the jury the most.

The movies were later presented on the big screens to leave the local public with unforgettable impressions.

The Best Film Award went to the Austrian team Argon's movie featuring a supernatural being, which can control forces of nature and their effects on humans. Although the humans still put up a good fight.

Meanwhile, one of those five teams was Gravity Workshop – a Russian group, which took part in the festival for the second time.

"It's always interesting to watch the spectators while they are watching your movie. I wonder what they feel within that period of time, and what they are thinking about your film,” explained base jumper Andrey “Kar” Boldyrev from Team Gravity Workshop.
