Opposition MPs beaten up after rally
Two Georgian members of parliament have been attacked after taking part in an opposition rally in the town of Zugdidi. Both were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
The march was organised by opposition parties in support of early parliamentary elections and the abolition of the presidential post.
Several hundred people took part in the rally, considered to be a rehearsal for a larger demonstration in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, on Friday.
