WW2 boldest offensive remembered

It's 66 years since thousands of Russian troops and volunteers left Moscow's Red Square to fight the Nazis in WW2. The occasion in November 1941 has been remembered in a veterans' parade in central Moscow on Wednesday.

The whole event lasted for about 45 minutes.

About 10,000 people marched in the parade, including school children, cadets and students. Many of those who took part were armed forces personnel dressed in WW2 uniforms.

About 700 veterans, 50 of whom originally took part in the November 1941 parade, also attended.
