Ford strike over, threats remain

Workers who went on strike at Russia's Ford plant say they plan to post the engine numbers of cars produced during their industrial action on the internet.

The TASS news agency says the workers hope car dealers will agree not to sell the ‘strike’ cars.

Ford's plant near St. Petersburg was out of action between the 20th and 27th of November, as workers went on strike over pay.

The company asked those not protesting to come back to work on the 28th, and re-started production with those who returned.

TASS is reporting that Ford has produced 66 cars since then and that some dealers say they may not want to buy cars produced during the strike.
