Weather watchdog: Hound scoots through streets holding umbrella (VIDEO)

They say dogs are a man’s best friend, and who could argue when the furry creatures are ready to to risk life and limb by guarding against the elements on the back of a speeding motorbike.

In case a flash flood hits, one motorist has his dog well-trained to hold an umbrella while riding pillion passenger.

A video, purported to be filmed in Thailand, shows a labrador watching his owner’s back against sudden rolling rain clouds by carrying an umbrella in his mouth.

While that might not sound like a major feat, the fact the hound is hurtling through the streets on a scooter is surely enough to knock any passerby sideways.
