Aussie police release footage of teen mob attacking shopkeeper (VIDEO)

Australian police have released shocking video footage of a shopkeeper being attacked and robbed by a gang of youths in the hope identifying the culprits.

The brazen attack took place on a Monday night at 6:30pm on Wellington Street, Perth, where a frustrated youth took out his anger at being asked for ID when attempting to buy cigarette rolling papers.

After throwing stones at the attendant's shop window, the aggressive young man returned shirtless and started punching 24-year-old Muhammad who had gone outside to confront the youngster, 7 News Sydney reported.

Suddenly, a gang of up to 20 youths swarmed the store and began stealing snacks and cigarettes while Muhammad was repeatedly punched by two particularly aggressive young men.

It’s not the first time the store has been targeted, in an interview with local station 7News, Muhammad said youths are often blatantly stealing from the store in the middle of the day.
