Three passengers were trapped on the bus’s upper deck, but were later freed by fire rescue units.
Twenty-one people received medical assistance at the scene, and five others had to be taken to hospital, but none were in a life-threatening condition, police said, adding that an investigation has been launched.

A “private” sign clearly visible on top of the bus in images from the scene has led to unconfirmed reports that the vehicle was being operated by an events and entertainment company.
Transport for London (TfL) said it was not responsible for crashed double-decker, adding that the bus had been privately hired, Reuters reported.
