Russia successfully tests ballistic missile

Russia has successfully test fired an intercontinental ballistic missile in Barents Sea in the Arctic Ocean.

The dummy missile was launched from the nuclear powered submarine Tula, belonging to Russia's Northern Fleet, towards a test site in the country's Far East.

It was said to be part of a combat training launch.

The Navy's press service said the missile reached its target on the Kamchatcka site on schedule.
