Switzerland, Belarus make their Olympic moves on Day 7 of Sochi Olympics

The Swiss national team has moved up to second place in the Olympic medal count with five golds after winning top medals in cross-country skiing and Super-Combined. The Belorussian team also managed to grab two gold medals, drawing closer to the leaders.

Belorussian biathlete Darya Domracheva is celebrating her second gold medal in Sochi after winning the women’s 15-kilometer individual race. Her teammate freestyle skier Alla Tsuper in the meantime won gold in women’s aerials.

In the absence of Russian figure skating legend, Evgeny Plushenko, who withdrew from the individual event over back injury, Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan has become the men’s individual figure skating champion at the Sochi Winter Games.
