Yeltsin’s library opens in his home region

Boris Yeltsin’s ‘small motherland’ Yekaterinburg, in the Russian Urals, has commemorated him by opening a regional centre of Yeltsin’s Presidential Library two years after his death.

The center has been established to assemble and store documents on history, theory, and practice of ‘the statehood of the Urals’.

A memorial collection devoted to the first president of Russia, which includes books, magazines, films, photos, and objects of art, will be the special feature of the center.
