US pilots go from cockpit to cock fight

Five American pilots who thought alcohol was the best way to keep warm in the freezing cold of Siberia are now in the media spotlight.

CCTV footage has been leaked online showing a booze brawl involving the servicemen, who were in Russia for military drills.The fight broke out in one of the most luxurious hotels in the Siberian city of Ulan-Ude last month. The pilots got drunk while celebrating their last day of service and began bothering the hotel staff.Failing to gain their attention, the brawlers switched to each other. Security forces had to get involved to stop the punch-up between the drunk servicemen. All five left Russia immediately after the row – with the protection of diplomatic immunity.
