Afghanistan: nobody expects a free election

David Axe, a military correspondent and a contributor to the blog “WAR IS BORING” elaborates on the situation in Afghanistan and the potential of its development.

According to Axe, progress in building democracy is apparent within the country:

“Nobody expects a free election,” he said.

“I think the second time around will be better than the first and I know that NATO is going to be playing a bigger role in the selection of the polling places,” he added.
