“Russian swimmers may claim 3 golds at 2012 London Olympics” - coach

After years in the doldrums, Russian swimming finally looks like it has something to smile about after a successful season, which now allows them to look forward with cautious optimism.

RT’s Richard van Poortvliet caught up with the man who is partly responsible for this upturn in fortunes, Andrey Vorontsov, who returned to coach in the country of his birth after a decade training Britain's best swimmers.

Vorontsov summed up his first season at the helm of the Russian swimming and made his forecast of future developments in the sport.
