“Comfort keeps people controlled”

Since coming to power President Obama has not delivered on many of his campaign promises and vast ethnic communities still suffer from high unemployment, poor education and healthcare, says hip-hop trio “Rebel Diaz”.

One of the group members, RodStarz, believes the reason is deeply entrenched in the system:

“Capitalism as we know it failed and it will continue to fail because these people are so greedy,” he told RT.

But many turn a blind eye on what is going on around because it is easier for them:

“People in the United States are comfortable. If you’ve got your PlayStation and a flat screen TV – you are alright. People need to wake up and understand that their comfort is what’s keeping us controlled,” RodStarz added.
