Russian-US relations are out of the muddy hole – diplomat

Russia and the US have seen some discord in recent years, but as ties are being reset the situation is changing. The new START treaty signaled a joint willingness to work towards a world without nuclear weapons.

“Any element of cooperation particularly on strategic issues – if it can be worked out satisfactorily – becomes a win-win for both sides. And it adds strength to the relationship,” Mr. Pickering said.
