Swedes sink Pirate Bay downloads?

Swedish prosecutors have filed charges against four people for running a popular bit torrent website, The Pirate Bay.

The four are accused of making nearly $US 190,000 dollars, by placing advertisements on their web site, known for illegally distributed music, movies and software.

Thirty four cases of copyright infringements have also been listed, of which 21 are related to music files, nine to movies and four to games.

However a spokesperson for The Pirate Bay claims the calculations are based on invoices not related to the controversial Web site.
