'Hey yo Princess': Star Wars' Leia harassed in New York for 10 hours

What's it like for Princess Leia to sashay across New York City all by herself for 10 hours? The legendary princess got to hear the most cringeworthy pickup lines during her stroll, and she encountered a host of creepy men.

As Princess Leia drifted through the busy and crazy streets of New York in her classic white dress and trademark hair buns, she faced an avalanche of verbal harassment, with 'Hey Princess' possibly the nicest message she got to hear.

She also met a veritable army of the galaxy's weirdos and scoundrels, from Darth Vader to Yoda.

A Star Wars-inspired parody, from the comic group ‘Are We There Yet?’ answers last month's video sensation, which captured the experience of one actress walking silently through the streets of NYC and being subjected to endless cat calls. The stunt was designed to raise awareness about street harassment. After the clip (created by the non-profit group Hollaback!) went viral, a comedy site, Funny or Die, decided to send a white male on a walk across NYC. He received job offers, high fives and Starbucks gift cards on his way.
