Spanish police frees Russian sex slaves
In Spain, seven people accused of organising a prostitution ring have been arrested. These include the leader – an Albanian citizen – three Russians and one Armenian citizen. Forty women have been freed in the raid.
Police say the group was trafficking women from Russia, forcing them to become prostitutes. The women were lured by prospects of finding a legal job but were made sex slaves instead.According to Ria Novosti correspondent Viktor Cheretsky, police have disclosed an international criminal network in Costa Brava, in north-eastern coast of Spain.
