Fire at Moscow's TV Tower put out
In Moscow, a fire at the Ostankinskaya TV Tower, Europe's tallest free-standing structure, has been put out. People were evacuated and lifts in the building were switched off.
No one is thought to have been injured. As for the possible causes of the fire, it may have been sparked by workmen carrying out welding in the building.Seven years ago a fire in the same tower killed three people and cut off television broadcasts across the city.
