Russian mobile operator plans to launch own retail network
Russia's leading mobile operator MTS has announced plans to increase its revenues by making its marketing strategy more efficient. The company even plans to create its own retail network.
Since 2006 the number of mobile users in Russia has increased by 24 MLN people. Now companies are looking for ways to enlarge profits. MTS says it is ready to launch its own retail network based on independent retail chains. Currently MTS's share of the market is almost 33 %.
