Sharapova primed for Wimbledon win

Sharapova primed for Wimbledon win

Russian Maria Sharapova will be looking for her second Wimbledon title when she walks on court at the All England club.

The championships get underway today, with Roger Federer aiming for his fifth straight men's title. If the Swiss ace does manage to win, he will match Bjorn Borg's record of five successive Wimbledon Crowns.

This year, there will be no roof on the centre court because it is undergoing reconstruction to put a retractable roof on which will be ready for next year.

Sharapova is due to play her first round match on Tuesday, against World number 51, Yung-Jan Chan from Chinese Taipei
