One more arrested over UK terror attacks

Another man has been detained in Britain in connection with the failed car bombing attempts in Glasgow and London, bringing the total number of arrests since the weekend to eight.

Two of the suspects are reportedly doctors of Jordanian and Iraqi origin.

Police are continuing to search homes near Glasgow airport and in Staffordshire.

Detectives believe the three failed attempts to set off car bombs were connected.

The UK remains on the highest level of terror alert.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says the people responsible are linked with al-Qaeda.
