More problems for Endeavor crew

Astronauts from the NASA space shuttle Endeavour have carried out repairs on the International Space Station during their first spacewalk.

As a new beam was installed, the station's main computer broke down and the crew were forced to use a backup system.

NASA experts say a tear in Endeavour's heat shield that happened during take off, is a minor problem and unlikely to need patching up.

The damage was revealed by close-up photographs taken by two Russian astronauts from the space station.
