Naval powers work out in the Far East
The Russian and U.S. navies have combined forces on the second day of joint exercises in the Amur Gulf, near the city of Vladivostok in the Far East. The two naval powers are working out techniques for arresting trespassing ships as well as rescuing boa
The three-day event will also include mine-sweeping and anti-submarine exercises.
Among the Russian ships taking part are the Admiral Panteleyev, a Udaloy class destroyer, and a BT-100 minesweeper.
It's the third joint exercise by American and Russian marines this year.
