Prosecutor says UK dragging feet on Litvinenko case

The murder case of Russia's Central Bank first deputy Andrei Kozlov has been concluded and the details will soon be made public. That's according to the Head of the country's Investigative Committee.

In an interview with the newspaper Izvestia, Aleksandr Bastrykin says significant progress has been made in investigating several notorious cases, including the murders   of Anna Politkovskaya and Aleksandr Litvinenko.

Bastrykin adds that in the Politkovskaya case, investigators are considering six different scenarios.

As for the Litvinenko case, Bastrykin claims police in the UK are hindering Russia's investigation by not providing sufficient information.
