Russians remember road victims

Russians remember road victims

So far this year, 27,000 people have died in Russian car accidents and 243,000 have been injured, and Sunday marked the country's first ever Road Peace Day.

Church services are being held and white doves to be released to raise awareness of those who are killed and injured on roads around the world.

The event was established by UN General Assembly three years ago.
