Stunning Northern Lights illuminate sky in Norway (VIDEO)

Stunning Northern Lights illuminate sky in Norway (VIDEO)

A lucky photographer managed to capture breathtaking footage of the gorgeous natural light display in Norway known as the Northern Lights, or aurora borealis.

The photographer appears to have been so thrilled with the stunning light display he started shooting before he even left his cabin in Norway.

As the sky was clear of clouds, the view was particularly spectacular. Footage of the event has been published on social media.

Aurora borealis, during which multicolored curtains of light fill the skies, is not rare in northern Norway. Auroras can be red, yellow, pink, ultra red, violet or blue, while the green ones are the most common.

The natural phenomenon can be observed in the most northern as well as most southern latitudes, including Russia’s Polar regions.
