#VoteTogether: Sanders supporters light up Twitter with powerful ad campaign (VIDEO)

Whether US presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders can back up his much trumpeted revolution remains to be seen, but there’s no denying the self-described democratic socialist can whip up a powerful political message.

With New Hampshire becoming the first US state to wholeheartedly “Feel the Bern”, a Sanders ad about tearing down racial, ethnic, sexual preference, and gender divisions in US society has been widely shared across social media. It is leaving scores of voters glassy eyed.

Presidential rival and Republican Donald Trump has been labelled ‘racist’ and ‘sexist’ for his views expressed on the campaign trail, including his call for the “complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”.

But Sanders’ message couldn’t be any more different: “Our job is not to divide. Our job is to bring people together.”

The video incorporates an empowering speech by the Vermont senator, telling voters: “When we stand together and demand that this country works for all of us rather than the few, we will transform America.”

The advert was directed by Jonathan Olinger and liked thousands of times when posted by the official Bernie Sanders Twitter page.

A number of supporters have since shared the “beautiful” chill-inducing campaign material following Sanders’ stunning victory in the New Hampshire primary.
