Genghis Khan pleads guilty to shooting up parked car!

Genghis Khan pleads guilty to shooting up parked car!

The headline may have you thinking the warrior founder of the Mongol Empire rose from the dead to commit a petty crime. But it was a 25-year-old sharing Genghis Khan’s name that pleaded guilty to firing a sawn-off shotgun at a parked car in Coventry, UK.

With no relation or link to the Mongol Emperor, who conquered almost 12 million square miles of territory in the 13th century, Khan admitted possessing the weapon with intent to endanger life following the incident on June 8.

He fired the gun at an empty vehicle in the early hours of the morning and was arrested a few days later. However, a motive hasn’t been disclosed to the court.

After police searched Khan’s property, the shotgun was found with the sawn-off barrel, along with ammunition and drugs, according to the Coventry Telegraph.

Two other men, aged 19 and 20, were also arrested in connection with the incident.

Twitter users just couldn’t get enough of the man’s name.
