'Respect to the king': Social media reacts to history-maker Conor McGregor
Fans around the world had either a late night or an early morning to see UFC great Conor McGregor top the bill at Madison Square Garden, and they were not disappointed.

They had a chance to witness history in the making, as the Irishman became the first fighter ever to win titles in different divisions. Not only that, he now holds two belts simultaneously.
Social media was awash with admiration and praise, including from NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, for the controversial character who rubber-stamped his place as the promotion’s star.
