Game maker Ubisoft sorry for graphic female nudity in new release
Game developer Ubisoft has apologized for depicting female genitalia in the newly released Watch Dogs 2 after a player was banned by Sony for sharing an image from the game online.
A gamer with the username ‘Goron2000’ made the discovery after attacking a group of women in the blockbuster game that came out earlier this week.
Posting on the Neogaf forum, the player explained: "On Sunday evening, I accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe and then I saw 'it', someone at Ubisoft had rendered a full vagina on one (or maybe more) of the females in the game.
Grab #WatchDogs2, out now on PS4 & Xbox One!

"I took a picture of this funny oversight with the in-game camera and shared it on Twitter for my friends to see, and I posted it in one of the Watch Dogs early release threads on here.
"Cut to tonight where I can't access any services while playing the game, and then when I tried to sign in there was a very brief message about my account being suspended."
Sony initially suspended the gamer from their PlayStation Network for a week before extending that to a whole month because sharing “content of an adult or sexual nature is against our Code of Conduct,” according to Sony correspondence shared by Goron2020.
Appreciate your support everyone. With the 1 week ban I kind of shrugged but Sony should be ashamed for adding extra for me exposing them.

Under Sony’s terms of service, members of the PlayStation community are prohibited from sharing “any content, language, images or sounds in any forum, communication, public profile or other publicly viewable areas” that it deems “offensive, hateful or vulgar,” including sexually offensive material.
The player questioned the lengthy suspension on Twitter and on NeoGAF where he was supported by numerous fellow gamers who hit out at Sony.
@Swizzasaur I definitely think that's out of order. Seems to me like someone's trying to make a point. Pathetic. Disappointed in you Sony!

@Swizzasaur amen brother. I find the whole situation ridiculous on Sony's part. I didn't hear anyone getting banned for Witcher 3 Screens

Following this backlash Sony then repealed the suspension, saying the email had been sent “incorrectly”.
Sony have undone the suspension. We won! I think? They never admitted fault of course. I want to thank everyone for their support today.

Ubisoft have apologized for including the image in the game and announced that they will be releasing an updated version of the game later this week. However, they did not say why or how the genitalia imagery was included in the released game.
"We’re aware that one of the NPC (non-player character) models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit. While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week," the company said in a statement.
