BBC cameraman ‘run over by Jeremy Corbyn’s car’

BBC cameraman ‘run over by Jeremy Corbyn’s car’

A BBC cameraman was “run over” by a car carrying Jeremy Corbyn as the Labour leader arrived for the party’s general election manifesto signing.

The cameraman was seen being treated by medics after the incident.

Channel 4 journalist Matt Spencer tweeted a video of the cameraman receiving treatment, writing: “Jeremy Corbyn was in the car as the tyre ran over this man’s foot. He’s receiving medical treatment - Corbyn’s gone inside.”

Senior Labour figures are attending a ‘Clause V meeting’ in central London in order to finalize the party’s manifesto, after a draft of the document was leaked to the press.
