Virginia State University (VSU) has been placed on lockdown following a shooting on campus, the college’s police department tweeted. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area. The suspect is reportedly on the loose. According to media reports, one person was shot in the pelvis and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident happened after VSU alumni held a homecoming parade on Saturday.
