Japan marks 7th anniversary of tsunami that killed nearly 16,000 & led to Fukushima disaster

Japan marked the seventh anniversary of a devastating tsunami on Sunday. Back in 2011, giant waves were triggered by a 9-magnitude quake off the coast of the northeastern region of Tohoku. The disaster claimed around 16,000 lives and left more than 2,000 people missing, according to police. It also led to the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
