Saudi Aramco facilities ‘safe’ after Yemen’s Houthis claim drone attack

Saudi Aramco said on Wednesday that its facilities in the southwestern province of Jizan were operating “normally and safely.” The statement came after Yemen’s Houthi movement said it launched a drone strike on a facility belonging to the Saudi state energy company. Yemen’s armed Houthis said on Wednesday they had launched a drone strike on a facility belonging to oil giant Saudi Aramco in southern Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported. The Houthis’ Al-Masirah TV channel did not say when the attack took place nor did it give details of any damage caused.
