UK’s stance on Skripal case unchanged, still Russia to blame – Foreign Office

London’s stance on the Skripal case was left unshaken by the revelations just made by Czech President Milos Zeman, a spokesperson for the UK Foreign Office told TASS on Friday. While the Czech president and other government officials confirmed their country had manufactured and tested small amounts of the Novichok-family of nerve agents, the UK maintains Russia was behind the poisoning of the former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury in March. London continues to insist that only Russia had the technical means, field experience and motive to pull off such an “attack,” the spokesperson said. Moscow has repeatedly denied the accusations, urging London to provide some evidence to back up the claims and seeking to conduct a joint, public investigation into the incident.
