Trump signs ‘Right to Try’ bill for terminally ill Americans

Americans diagnosed with a terminal disease will be allowed to try experimental treatments, under a law signed by President Donald Trump on Wednesday. The law allows for drugs that have cleared part of the FDA approval process to be used on patients who have exhausted all other treatment options. It was approved in Congress last week, though Democrats argued it was dangerous and would give people “false hope.”
