Russia’s rich kids get their rating

Russia’s richest children have personal capital of $3 Billion or more. That’s according to Finance Magazine which has published its annual rating this week.

This years list is headed by Petr and Marina Deripaska, children of Rusal’s owner Oleg Deripaska, who are estimated to be worth roughly $20 Billion apiece.

Last year’s leader Yusuf Alekperov, the heir of Lukoil’s Vagit Alekperov, slipped into third place despite the fact that his dad’s fortune grew to over $13 Billion.

Big families may be happier, but the fact that there's five of them means that Roman Abramovich’s children will inherit less than $5 Billion dollars each.  Vladimir Potanin’s 3 children face a similar issue with their estimated inheritance coming in at just over $7 Billion.

The daughters of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and his wife, Billionaire construction magnate, Elena Baturina are each worth an estimated $4.6 Billion.
