No objections to Russian investments: Airbus CEO

The European aerospace corporation, EADS, is inviting Russia to increase its investment in the firm, according to the new CEO of Airbus, Thomas Enders.

Russia's VTB Bank currently has a 5% stake in EADS.

Thomas Enders has told Russia Today Airbus has no complains about the VTB as an investor.

“I have no complaint about the investment of the VTB Bank. This is a financial investment. The VTB Bank behaves like a financial investor, we treat it like a financial investor, and we are happy about every investor who is interested in our company,” he commented.

Moreover, according to RT Business Today correspondent, Daniel Bushell, Mr Enders told him that Airbus “sees Russia's United Aircraft-building Corp. (UAC) as a partner – not a competitor. He went further to say that he will co-operate with the UAC to build the MS-21, which is a direct competitor to the Airbus family.”
