Russia can hope for medals at Sochi 2014 – new curling coach

Curling is just one of the few winter sports Russia is yet to win an Olympic medal in, but new national women's team coach Anders Kraupp is aiming to put that right at Sochi 201

The Swede has only just taken on the job, but already has grand designs for the national team.“Well I’ve quite a lot of about the world curling on the ladies’ side and I would say they definitely have the capability to take the medals and, hopefully, the highest medals,” Kraupp told RT. “With a lot of work and a perfect talent, which I hope they’ll have, of course they can win.”

“And since the Russians are putting great effort in this I think we have really good chance, actually,” he added.
