Why are we afraid of North Korea? – New Yorkers have their say

North Korea has been making headlines all around the world this week with its second nuclear test. Lori “The Resident” Harfenist took to the New York streets to find out what people think about the issue.

Following the nuclear test, US President Barack Obama responded with an official statement saying North Korea’s pursuit of nuclear weapons is a threat to world peace, but countries like Pakistan, Iran and Israel also have nuclear technologies.

So the question is: why should the world be more afraid of North Korea and why is it ok for some countries to have nuclear capabilities and others not? Find out what New Yorkers think.
