Gibson to sing a duet with Russian lover

Gibson to sing a duet with Russian lover

Well-known director and actor Mel Gibson turned out to be more than generous. He not only signed his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, to his record label Icon Records, but also intends to sing some songs in duet.

According to Stuff magazine, Gibson has not only invited Oksana to record her new album at his studio, composed lyrics for several songs, and directed video-clips for four of the new album’s tracks. Now the Braveheart even sings on his girlfriend's album.

He officially confirmed his relationship with the Russian beauty only after his wife Robyn – mother of his seven children – filed for divorce from him in April 2009. Gibson went public with his relationship with Oksana before revealing she was pregnant.

53-year-old Oscar winning director’s first marriage lasted 28 years. His ex-wife, with whom he has seven children, is likely to end up taking half of Gibson's wealth, which he earned throughout his 30-year career in the cinema business.

His new significant other, Oksana Grigorieva, was born in 1970 in the Russian town of Saransk. Prior to her relationship with Mel Gibson, she was living with another famous actor, Timothy Dalton, known for being one of the actors to play James Bond.
