Prisoners gain on the net

Life is getting more comfortable in Russia's jail cells as prisoners in St.Petersburg can now go online for some weekly shopping.

The internet store sells things like cigarettes, tea, chocolate and soup – even offering a refund if the inmate regains their liberty before the package arrives.

This isn't the first innovation for St. Petersburg's prisoners, some of whom are even allowed to use email to reach beyond the prison walls.
